Iron man (Marvel Comics) CCXP Exclusive 2025

Curator's note

Tony Stark, created by Stan Lee, Larry Lieber, Don Heck, and Jack Kirby, first appearing in Tales of Suspense #39 (1962). Wounded by shrapnel in a war-zone weapons test, the engineer built a suit of armor to keep his heart beating and never stopped refining it, through storylines like 1979's 'Demon in a Bottle,' which confronted his alcoholism. This Iron Studios statue was released as a CCXP 2025 convention exclusive.
