Peni Parker - Spider-Man: Into The Spiderverse

Curator's note

Peni Parker, created by Gerard Way and Jake Wyatt, first appearing in Edge of Spider-Verse #5 (2014). A Japanese-American teenager sharing a psychic bond with the radioactive spider SP//dr, piloting the mech rather than wearing a suit, in a partnership visibly indebted to Neon Genesis Evangelion. Iron Studios' Battle Diorama Series statue casts pilot and mech as one hand-painted polystone piece, completing their Into the Spider-Verse lineup alongside Miles, Gwen, and Noir.
