Stan Lee Legendary Years - Pow

Curator's note

Stan Lee, joined Timely Comics as an assistant in 1939 at age eighteen, taking the byline 'Stan Lee' for a text filler in Captain America Comics #3 (1941) before becoming the company's editor-in-chief at nineteen. With Jack Kirby and other collaborators he co-created the Fantastic Four, Spider-Man, the X-Men, Thor, Iron Man, and Daredevil through the 1960s, pioneering the collaborative 'Marvel Method' of scripting. Iron Studios' 'Pow' line, referencing his catchphrase, renders him here in Art Scale 1/10.
