Captain America Avengers: Infinity War

Curator's note

Created by Joe Simon and Jack Kirby, first appearing in Captain America Comics #1 (1941). Steve Rogers, the underweight recruit remade into a super-soldier by Dr. Erskine's serum, gave up his classic shield after Civil War. In Avengers: Infinity War he fights the Wakanda battle wielding a pair of vibranium batons that lock together into a makeshift shield. This piece freezes that moment as part of Iron Studios' Infinity War battle series.
