Gambit - X-Men 97

Curator's note

Remy LeBeau, created by Chris Claremont and Jim Lee, debuting in story in Uncanny X-Men #266 (1990). The Cajun thief turned X-Man channels his mutant gift through charged playing cards, converting stored energy into small explosive force with a touch. Iron Studios' X-Men '97 Art Scale line pairs him with Wolverine as a duo piece, the card game shark caught in his signature trench coat and pink-glowing eyes from the 2024 animated revival.
